Diversified Small-lot Production Furnishes Needed Products When Needed
Solder is used for connections on printed circuit boards, electrical wiring and terminals, and in many other applications as well as vehicle onboard computers and other applications in extremely severe environments requiring a diversity of forms and alloy compositions.
Diversified small-lot production is essential in manufacturing such solder. All our solder products, from bar solder, paste, and pre-form to flux, are manufactured on increasingly automated clean lines.
Manufacturing sites include domestic facilities at our head office and our Iida factory in addition to one factory in China, where customer demand is enormous. Plans also call for further expansion into Vietnam, Thailand, and other parts of Southeast Asia. We are establishing networks beyond Japan to enable just-in-time production that gets our customers the products they need, when they need them.
Solder Coat not only produces solder materials, we also manufacture peripheral "vertical leveler(solder coater)" equipment. These machines provide greater space savings and speed in leveler processing, a critical step for circuit board manufacturers and mounters.
